This summer, get ready to explore Lakewood one stop at a time! The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce invites you to play Spot What’s Hot 2026, a city-wide summer challenge that rewards you for visiting local shops, restaurants, services, and favorite neighborhood spots across Lakewood.
Visit participating businesses, scan the QR code to check in and earn points, and snap photos with the business’s Spot What’s Hot photo prop for bonus points. The more points you earn, the higher you climb on the leaderboard. Finish among the top three point earners to win community gift card prizes!
And while you’re competing, so are the businesses! Your check-ins help participating businesses compete for the title of Lakewood’s Hottest Spot of 2026 and the traveling Chamber Cup.
❋ How it Works ❋
• Register to play (free and easy!)
• Visit participating locations through August 29
• Scan the business’s QR code to check in and earn points
• Snap a photo with a Spot What’s Hot photo prop for bonus points
• Visit again! You can check in at the same business again after 24 hours
• Complete the entire map for a special 100-point bonus
• Earn points, climb the leaderboard, and compete for prizes!
The more you explore, check in, and join the fun, the more points you can earn. It’s that simple—and all digital through your phone.
❋ Prizes ❋
The top three point earners at the end of the challenge will win community gift card prizes! The gift cards contributed by participating businesses will be divided among the three winners.
Additionally, each check-in is like voting for your favorite participating business. Every time you earn business points, that business does too. The participating business with the highest point total will be named Lakewood’s Hottest Spot of 2026 and take home the traveling Chamber Cup to display until next year’s challenge.
