In an effort to ensure the safety and health of our community, the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce officially announces that the 2020 Taste of Lakewood is cancelled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Traditionally a June event, the Taste of Lakewood was postponed until September 20, with the expectation that it would be safe to host an outdoor festival in the fall. However, with the recent orders from Ohio Governor DeWine regarding mass gatherings, and the ongoing prevalence of COVID-19 in our area, it has been determined that it would be unsafe to host such a large event in this calendar year.

“It is with a heavy heart that we make this announcement, but we have to put the health and welfare of our community, first.” said Patty Ryan, President and CEO of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. “We value the health of our event partners, our volunteers and the community; and cannot risk contributing to the spread of COVID-19. We’re optimistic that the Taste of Lakewood will return in 2021. In the meantime, please support our local restaurants and merchants as they continue to deal with the impact of this pandemic. Shop small and shop safe Lakewood!”
